About Marissa

Did you know that only 2% of pet owners ever foster a dog in need? If you're part of the 98% and want to help raise that statistic OR if you're a seasoned foster and want to keep helping, I have a great opportunity for you! Foster or adopter needed for Marissa! Sweet Marissa is a 2 year old, 60 lb Siberian Husky from the arctic ��%BD�� climates of California. She's very friendly, loves to be rubbed, sit on your lap and receive pets. She loves exploring and is very playful with dogs of all sizes. She is also somewhat independent- if there is another dog around, she will choose playing with the dog over sticking by the human. She's a confident girl and she also respects other dogs' boundaries really well. Leash walking with a regular leash could use improvement but she has a special leash she does excellent with! She's an Olympic jumper (as most huskys are) so it's best that she goes to a home with a tall fence. She's kind with children but due to her size, she might be best in a home with kids that aren't infants or toddlers. She hasn't been tested with cats.
