We lucked out this weekend, although Theodore is on the tail end of giardia treatments waiting on lab results, we were able to take a #ShelterBreak before dusk (it's usually dark when I take him out after the shelter closes) �٪� Theodore A683990 Still Needs Help: 1 Year Old Labrador Retriever URGENT Needs Rescue By 01/13/2023 Theodore is a 1 year old (people & dog) friendly black lab mix that originally arrived as a stray on 09/15/2022 after being found near Davenport Park. A local animal rescue took him in on 10/18/2022, but on 11/19/2022 he was returned to the shelter after receiving an abscess above his right eye. The abscess is not healing and constantly leaking out puss & fluids, as a result Theodore has received an exit deadline of 01/13/2023. #ListenUp! Theodore can be jumpy & a goofball at times BUT he's extremely smart and takes to training like a sponge! He has giardia (contagious to other dogs) so he is primarily take him out after the shelter closes, so it's already dark out when videos of him are taken showing off his talents.
