This beautiful boy is Hansel. He's a year old cattle/herding dog mix. Unfortunately, his owners have had to seek regiment because Hansel, like many herding breeds is very nervous around small children, and they have two. He did nip a small boy over a popsicle stick, but has not bitten any adult. Hansel loves belly rubs and prefers female humans to males. Has gotten along with other dogs in the past but has not interacted closely in a while. Can be somewhat reactive on leash. Has not met a cat. Loves playing fetch. Assessment info can be shared with anyone interested in this boy. Time is of the essence as he is increasingly needing to be crated due to his anxiety with the children. If you are iterested and/or wouldlike more information, please email: [email protected] There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. That fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in finding Hansel a furever home.
