About Noche

LOCATION: Dallas, Texas DOB: 01/17/2021 Hello World!! My name is Noche. I also like 'Nacho' and 'Nochee' and 'Lady Long Legs.' I am still growing into these long legs!! They get me where I'm going - around the block, up the stairs, the occasional zoomie around the yard - but I sometimes forget how tall I am! I am gentle and so affectionate. I'm almost always smiling and wagging my tail (unless I'm eating or snoozing). When I first greet new people, I roll onto my back so they know I'm friendly. OHHHH I do love a good belly rub!! I'm a total lazy love bug and just want to be close - if not leaning in for some scratches and snuggles, then my second favorite place is laying on the ground at your feet. I listen well and talk, too! Especially if I'm hungry or need to go out. I caught a little bug when I was in the shelter (no fun) and wouldn't eat (super no fun). But I didn't even flinch when my foster mom had to place my medicine on the back of my tongue for me to take it. My first owner taught me lots of manners. I know my name, 'sit,' and 'down.' I've never jumped up on people or furniture, am potty-trained and crate trained. As long as I'm in my comfy space (crate with a soft bed), I'm great being left alone for a few hours at a time. I respect boundaries - the dog gate, closed doors, fence - even food on counters. I'm not very active but do enjoy walks around the neighborhood and patrolling the yard. I do great on a leash. I like adults and kids of all ages. And I like squeaky balls and Nylabones. If I had to pick things I don't like, it would have to be icy grass and loud noises. I do fine with other dogs.
