About Wyatt

This little sparkplug is Wyatt. Wyatt is a 9 pound Chihuahua and maybe Dachshund mix. He is 8 years old. Wyatt came to us when her previous home experienced a fire, and they all lost their home. Her previous people had over 40 dogs in the home and the fire led to them asking for help to place the dogs in new homes. Fur Fun Rescue took most of the dogs, and two other local rescues took several dogs as well. The rescues went to the site of the fire and carried the dogs from a barn to kennels in vehicles. The dogs were then driven to Anamosa Vet Clinic where they were examined and given their vaccines. Their final step that day was to foster homes where they could finally relax and rest. Wyatt is full of personality and super friendly. He is always happy to meet new people and give them kisses. He is not one that likes to be ignored and make sure you don't forget about him. Wyatt loves to be in a lap, snuggled up with his people. Wyatt is housetrained and kennel trained. He does great with other dogs his size. He has not had exposure to larger dogs and due to his small size, his new home should not have large dogs. Wyatt has been around children before and did fine with older children but does not like to be handled by young children. Wyatt is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm tested and microchipped. He also just had his teeth cleaned. Wyatt is excited to meet his new family and move to his forever home.
