About Frankie

Frankie will be 18 years old in June. He is a 15 pound Maltese whose owner passed away. He is has been cared for by a family member, but he needs to find someone home more often to let him out. Frankie is very healthy and spry. He is up to date on vaccines and neutered. He has no known health issues. He is established with a vet and a groomer in the Lafayette area and does well being handled by strangers. Frankie does well with children, although we feel older children would be best. He also does great with other dogs and cats. Frankie has lived his life with a fenced yard and still enjoys sniffing around the perimeter and exploring. We feel a physically fenced yard would be ideal. Frankie does potty outside, but just needs to go out more often or he will have accidents. His current person will often have him wear belly bands to help with this due to her busy schedule. This is just the normal age progression for a senior pup. Frankie's adoption fee is waived to an approved applicant that can provide a retirement home for him.
