About Emma

PENDING ADOPTION Meet sweet Emma, an 11 year old, 25lb chocolate cocker spaniel. Emma's former owner went into a nursing home and we promised Emma a new and FOREVER home. This girl is a pawfect companion. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and is welcoming of her foster playmates! We have not seen her around cats. She has excellent house manners and LOVES to ride in the car. She sits like a pretty little lady in the front seat. ��%BD%9D%A4��%BD��%BD%8F Emma loves to be outside and to go on frequent short walks. She is good on a leash but can pull a little in her excitement to sniff everything ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD. And even though she is a gentle lady of senior status, she will take off in a sprint if she sees a squirrel!! Quite agile and fast for her 11 years so a firm grip of the leash is required and she must be watched at all doors because she likes to dash out on her own.... she's quite the athlete when she feels like it. ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD Emma is very affectionate and cuddly and likes to sit with her humans or be near them while they work. She is equally content to rest or sleep in her dog bed as long as she is close to her humans. Emma is a quiet girl and loves to look out the window and keep watch for those rabbits, squirrels and birds.
