Maggie was returned to me(breeder) when she 3 years old. The family that had her couldn't keep her because they were getting a divorce and both were living in places they couldn't have the dog. When I got Maggie back she was under weight had fleas and worms and her coat was not in good condition. With her behaviors she acted like she had been abused. I have worked with her for awhile and she is doing much better. She still has nightmares and growls in her sleep and at noises that aren't familiar with her. I would have her be any only pet. She definitely doesn't get along with female dogs. She is good with my teenagers but I would not recommend right off younger kids. Maybe after sometime when she gets used to the home. She does have a tendency to growl sometimes for no reason to us but must be a reason for her. I don't feel right keeping her in a kennel the rest of her life. She is up to date on shots and is OFA health tested. She would also need to be fixed if she isn't by the time she is rehomed.
