About Lucille

Lucille was picked up on the morning of January 20 asleep in an old mattress in an alley with another bully believe to be her son or possibly breeding made although he was much younger. It was a very cold morning and a rescue advocate happened upon them and pick them up and surrendered them to our rescue. She has been spayed , had a dental and at that time we found she actually has no tongue. You read that right. She eats softened kibble from an elevated bowl and sucks water up like a horse and is very messy but has adapted. We have no idea what happened to her . she has some arthritis in her back hips and should be on Cosequin the duration of her life and is on it now . I am estimating her age at between eight and nine years old but she does still have mobility. She needs a good bully knowledgeable home to live out her retirement years as she has been bred a lot in the past.We do require a bulldog knowledgeable home and we require an approval process and approved adopter to pick up.Please email us for additional pictures and videos of this sweet girl.
