About GIDGET

GIDGET hasn't had it easy. When she was found, her little body told a story of neglect and a little soul that's never known a tender touch. Her thin patches of fur, pressure sores and scars tell us that she hasn't always gotten the best nutrition or care that she needed. Even then she was loving and ready to give humans a second chance. Leave it to a pitbull to be the sweetest one out of all the dogs in the shelter. Rescued off of death row, she is now sleek, shiny and ready to start a new life. GIDGET is a total love bug. Her main focus is to get as close as she can to you and crawl up in your lap. At 42 lbs, she really believes she's a lap dog! She thrives on attention. She is the first up on her gate with a smile on her face when you walk in the kennel. She appears to have leash experience and pretty good manners. She did well with the tester dog and walked by the tester cats with no problems. She is also doing great in her obedience classes, but of course. Loving the attention and treats!
