About Alvin

Alvin was abandoned by his original owner who got him as a puppy. Once he wasn't a puppy, owner wanted Alvin euthanized. The veterinarian refused to euthanize a healthy young dog. So owner left Alvin at the vet office. Veterinarian neutered Alvin and gave all vaccines. However, Veterinarian cannot keep Alvin. If Alvin doesn't get a home, he's being surrendered to Memphis's HIGH KILL shelter where he will be euthanized. He's extremely smart with sweet temperament. House trained. Good in a kennel. He's still a little shy and scared. 1 year old. Small to medium, approximately 45 pounds. We don't know for sure his breed. A dog breed scanner identified him as 63% Basenji; 30.2% Carolina dog.
