About Bubba Gump

Hi, I'm Bubba Gump, a handsome and brave Boxer mix. I'm 2 years old, 55 pounds, and brindle and white in color. I'm looking for my forever home where I can be your loyal and fun companion. I'm a friendly and playful boy who loves tennis balls and running. I'm house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and I'm ready to go on adventures with you. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm healthy and happy. I'm good with children, other dogs, and cats. I'm a curious and adventurous boy who has made friends with a possum and a pig in my foster home. I'm not picky about who I hang out with, as long as they're nice to me. I can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but I come around quickly. Once we are good friends, I will enjoy cuddling with you. There is something different about me. I have a special leg which is shorter than the others. The vet thinks the umbilical cord wrapped around my leg in utero causing a deformity to my leg. But I'm a trooper who doesn't let that stop me or slow me down. I don't have any trouble getting up the stairs or on furniture. I'm not in pain and I'm happy. I love to chew on toys, but I do best with tough ones because I chew easily through the soft kind. I am in a foster home in Hampton, VA but can be transported to other states for the right home. I'm a wonderful dog with so much love to give and I hope you will consider giving me a chance.
