About Shaylee

Those emails will get the quickest response, we do the best we can, but if we have to follow up with an email asking you about yourself and waiting for a response, well, we have already moved on to the next email that has provided the details. We are doing the best we can to find the right home for each dog or cat, just need your help too! :) My kids are grown now, but I think every neighborhood had that one kid that just wanted to play, have fun, gets some laughs in any time of the day. I would tell him the boys were eating now, no worries he will just hang around outside and bounce this ball of the side of your house until they are done, lol. Well, that fun loving person just so happens to have a spirit animal and her name is Shaylee. You just have to love the type, so good natured and simply ready to enjoy every moment of the day that they can squeeze in. Not to say Shaylee is hyper, she is not at all. But when the fun is to be had, you know she is going to be there. She has been here long enough she has become our activity director, ready to take the newbies under her wing, show them around the yard, show them where all the cool places to check out are. And of course assist them with any zoomies as needed. She does not care how big, small, old or young, they are all potential buddies. She loves her people as well and plays a mean game of fetch, of course those long legs can outrun all the other dogs. We are a little stunned that this awesome beauty is still here and has not been adopted by some very lucky family. Shaylee is so loving, playful and would be an excellent hiking partner. She LOVES to go for walks and explore and sniff everything she can. She would probably be great as a camper as well, she loves to meet new people and dogs and also listens well and is not an excessive barker. But, she is big enough where someone else might think twice about approaching. We simply adore this big girl. We really do not know what her breed(s) are, but an app for dogs said she looked like a Carolina Dog(American Dingo) and a Shiba Inu. I googled the combo, and it does look like Shaylee. She is over 50 pounds now, but probably not going to be over 65?? She is smart, funny, active, perfect in the house and fancies herself a professional lap dog. She was adopted as a pup from a shelter and snapped at a child that had grabbed her from behind. For that reason she will only go to a home with older children. Shaylee really needs an active family, a fenced yard and another active/playful dog is priority. Shaylee will go home with plenty of supplies to help her settle in, even a big memory foam bed!! Spring is here, what a great time to get back outside and enjoy the season with Shaylee!!
