Just like their mom, they are sociable and absolutely love humans. Terriers, by nature, are affectionate and loyal, but have enough independence that they don't need pampering (although, they won't turn it down!) They tend to be lap dogs indoors, but will turn on the zoomies when their paws touch grass. Terriers are also sure to notify you of any newcomers with a sharp bark or two, making them excellent guard dogs.
