About Dan

Dan is a 6 year old mixed breed rescue. Unfortunately, we have some personal health issues that make it difficult to give Dan the attention he deserves. He needs more exercise than we can provide, and would also prefer infinite cuddles. He is a high-energy, very lovable, and smart dog. He loves to cuddle, play fetch, and go for walks. He knows a ton of commands, which we are happy to share with any adopter. Dan tends to get along with other dogs, especially smaller dogs, but he can become overwhelmed when there are too many other dogs around him. We think potential adopters should avoid dog parks, but Dan loves an open field to run around in or play ball in and has a great recall. We hate to even think about giving him up, but if there is someone who can give him a large yard and more attention, we think his life would be much happier.
