This is posted by a volunteer. Please read entire post including the part that says CALL THE SHELTER. Again, the shelter staff can update you on the status. Meet Rhino- no political affilitation. LOL Look! A rare White Rhino has been spotted in Oregon! Rhino is a ~4 year old boy who weighs ~65 lbs! This lovable ham is extremely outgoing, wiggly and loves to be by his people! He'll run up to you for some love and place his forehead on your chest, waiting for rear-end scratches. He loves to play with toys and is very treat motivated. Since he came in as a stray, we have no history on how he is with cats or kids. With proper introductions, we believe he would do well with kids because he's so loving. Rhino does need a tune up on his manners, but he's a smart cookie, training should be a piece of cake. There's never a dull moment with this boy and his goofy faces he makes puts a smile on all of our faces. When meeting dogs, Rhino is good with walking by and walking with other dogs, but he would prefer to be the only king in the castle. He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $165 to bring home! If you are interested in meeting this pet, please call (541) 474-5458 for an appointment. All appointments are made by phone (not email, Facebook or PetFinder) for the most up-to-date availability of the pets and the schedule. If we do not answer, we are either closed or caring for the animals, so please leave a voicemail - all voicemails are returned as soon as possible. Thank you! Please please do not email a response- because I may or may not reply; If I reply it will say Call the shelter!!! 541 474-5458 as directed. Thank you for your cooperation. Please be prepared to tell the staff about yourself and family, the city in which you live, your family dynamic, other pets, fenced yard- and what else will help identify your family as a good match. Do not ask via email if animal is available. Please call the shelter for the most up to date information about this dog. Thank you.
