ADOPTION PENDING. Say hello to Joshua! This adorable, 5 year old, 15 lb Yorkie with a full tail found himself at a SW Florida shelter where he was going to be put him down because they witnessed him having a seizure ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD. FCCR volunteers quickly swung into action, scooped him up, and got him to our vet. He is on medications for the seizures and doing well. Sadly we discovered he is also heartworm positive ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD but he has started life-saving treatment sponsored by FCCR and we expect him to make a full recovery. Joshua is a happy-go-lucky and affectionate little guy who follows his foster Mom everywhere. He is good with other dogs and while he has not been observed with kids or cats, we think he would be fine with both, although he would prefer a quiet home ��%BD����%BD. He enjoys exploring the neighborhood and walks nicely on a leash. He loves to sun himself on the patio and do short zoomies in the yard. He is very expressive and will sometimes give you a mischievous look when he wants to play and cuddle with his human. He has good house manners, is crate-trained for overnight and quickly learned how to go in and out of the doggie door. He did great for a face trim and takes treats nicely. Joshua is a wonderful little boy and is ready for a second chance at a great life.
