This pretty girl is Laurel. She was born 7/5/21 partially deaf and partially blind. Although she sees pretty well she has trouble with the bright sun. There are special goggles that she could be taught to wear that would help her with that. Laurel has lots of energy and loves to play with other dogs but not small ones because she plays too rough. She would make a great herding dog she seems to have the moves for it. Unfortunately there is the nip that goes along with those great herding instincts so she should not be around small children. She needs a backyard to run and play in between the times she can be walked to help her manage all that energy. She needs to be adopted by a person with herding breed experience and Fear Aggression. She still has it but is so much better than it was. I have been working with her but she still has a long way to go. That being said, Laurel is a very happy, loving, affectionate dog. She knows several signs and will sit and stay until given the ok to eat. She is crate trained, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and good on the leash. Is she your girl? If so, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
