About Teddy

This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Dapper Teddy is a happy and fun 7-month-old Beagle / Aussie mix with a down-for-anything attitude! Teddy is very treat-motivated and loves to learn. He is working on his canine obedience skills in his foster home and has already learned how to sit and several other commands. He loves to play Frisbee! Teddy would like a calm, committed, and consistent family who can put him at ease by providing him with plenty of regular routines, lots of play and some fun training games for his sharp mind. He is a fan of going for hikes and walks, and this helps put his nose to work as he greatly enjoys the sounds and smells of the outdoors. Teddy is a timid guy when first meeting new people in new places, but once he is comfortable and knows only positive things are coming when he sees you, he is put at ease, especially when treats are handy. Teddy might enjoy trips to the dog park, or perhaps play dates with other dogs. Teddy has been around teenagers and other dogs and has done well, so we expect him to be able to share his home with others who are savvy of him and his needs.
