About Rufus

Rufus is a one and a half years old, forty-nine-pound, Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever mix. Rufus is good with dogs of all sizes and great with kids, he is healthy and heartworm negative, prefer over age 10 or over. Rufus has lived with a cat treated her like a toy. Rufus is a gorgeous healthy yellow color. Rufus is losing his home because his senior owner has dementia; the family reached out to us to help. Rufus is a classic cheerful yellow lab, eager to play, loves to ride in the car, is a great family dog! A sad situation for a young dog who has been in one home since puppy hood. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer fenced yard, but this is not required for all our dogs.
