About Piper

She is a wonderful dog in every way except for her dislike of children due to a neighbor child striking her when she was young. We have been training and working around this for years, but she nipped our newborn recently. We have an older child as well, thankfully no incidents, but he still can't have friends over just in case which is unfair to him. We have tried standard training, behavior training, immersion sessions, anti-anxiety treats and more with the same conclusion: while something likely won't happen, we can't guarantee it. Unfortunately, the nip at our newborn tipped the scales and it is time to find a better environment she can thrive in. She loves long runs and fetch until the sun goes where she can show off her impressive speed.
