About Brie

Looking for the perfect home for the perfect dog! Brie was found running loose in a field right before Thanksgiving. She was very skinny and in heat. We managed to find the owners, who could no longer care for her properly and they agreed to give her to us to take care of and find her a good home. We have had her caught up on all vaccinations, spayed, and DNA tested. We generally foster through a local rescue, but she was found outside of their zip code coverage, so we have done all vetting through our own personal vet out of pocket. The rehoming fee will help cover some of her vet costs. About Brie: She is around a year old. She is a bit skittish at first and shy around men especially and new people. Once she warms up, she is very silly and outgoing. She does great with other dogs and is much more confident when following another dog's lead. She does fine with cats and children too! She sleeps through the night in her crate and will whine when she needs to go outside. She hasn't had any issues with chewing or obsessive barking. She does have a really deep raspy husky howl which is adorable. Very food motivated and loves to play with other dogs. Walks well on a leash and travels well in the car. She would be a perfect hiking / running partner! Adoption requirements for Brie: - Husky experience. - Fenced in back yard. - Another dog to play with. - Vet references. - Home check along with meet and greet. - Guarantee return if it doesn't work out. - Someone home regularly. She will not do well being left with no human interaction all day. - Love- she is a fantastic dog (we would keep if we didn't have two already and fostered others) and deserves to be treated as family!
