About Bixby

Bixby is a very wary dog. She doesn't seem easily socialized, with people or other dogs, so it would be best she go to a home with her being the only dog. Because she is still adjusting to socializing, it may be best she isn't around small children until she settles. Bixby needs daily exercise, and could do with a new fitting collar and harness. Right now, there isn't a proper harness or leash. Were she to go outside without a leash, she runs and jumps the fence. As a temperament, Bixby is very sweet, gentle, and submissive. She will come up and cuddle with the family. Since she is a mixed breed, she can shed easily, so a brush is necessary. I'd appreciate only serious inquiries at this time. As a condition to adopt her, if you are able to meet Bixby once every few weeks so she can adjust to you that would be great.
