About Clay

Australian Cattle Dog / Siberian Husky
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

This is Clay! Clay is a 2 year old mix of Aussie/Cattle Dog and Husky. He is around 65 lbs. Clay needs a few things in his new home - a fenced in yard and an active person or family. He is medium-high energy and would love a dedicated leash walker in addition to playtime in the yard. Clay has been around kids as young as 4 without issue. Because of his size and energy we think sturdy kids 8+ are best for him! No cats for Clay... he is a little too interested. Clay likes to play with the other foster dogs in his home but can be a little possessive of toys and food with the other dogs. We DO think Clay could live with another dog and really enjoy it - he loves to romp and play, but the owners need to understand boundaries and rules or Clay will outsmart the household :). If he is the only, we think he would love it but would need to continue to have playdates and socialization with other canines because he loves it! Clay is a husky for sure - he is smart and calculated (not in a bad way) so an owner with husky experience would be awesome. With some additional training and consistency, Clay is going to be an awesome family dog (and he is quite a looker!)
