Name: Layla Age: 3.5 years old Breed: micro Bully mix, small/medium 20# Sex: Female, not spayed Location: Hillsborough County, FL Vet Information: Layla is not spayed or up to date on vaccinations. She is not microchipped. Layla has been blind in one eye since birth. Her owners tell us that her overall health is good, and she is a good eater. Owner Information: Layla has been with her owners since she was a small puppy. She was born to a breeder and was the runt of the litter and was born blind in one eye. Her owners bottle fed her as a puppy. Due to a change in work demands, they need to rehome her. Although Layla is house broken, she is kept in her crate most of the time because her owners are working and do not have a yard. They'd like to avoid accidents. They'd like to find her a home where she can spend more time outside of the crate. They tell us that Layla is gentle, loving, healthy, energized, and eats well. Layla doesn't like being on a leash because, in her owners' previous home, she had a yard, so it was not necessary. They tell us that Laya listens well, so they feel that she can be leash trained. She already knows cues for Sit, Stay, and Go to your crib (crate). Layla can be nervous and shy, but she is good with women, teenagers, and younger children. She's also good with her owners' cat. Layla is not possessive with treats, toys, or food. She is not aggressive to people or other animals, but she will bark if she hears voices or noises outside or a knock at the door. She has no bite history. Because Layla has only been around one man, she might do best in a home with women. Her owners would also think she'd do best in a home with a yard. Does anyone have room for sweet Layla? **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
