About Lionel

Meet Lionel! He is a 3 yr old neutered American Staffordshire or Pit bull. He weighs 59 lbs. His ears were cropped. He is very sweet and loving. When he first came to the rescue from an animal control facility in Ga he was very scared. But he has calmed down in a day. Walks well past the other dogs with no reaction and walks fairly well on leash. He is a beautiful boy! He passed the cat testing we did at the rescue so we believe he might be fine living in a home w cats. Of course slow introductions to other cats or dogs are always recommended. He did test positive for heartworm once we pulled him from Animal Control so we have started the treatment and will complete it. It is curable. He rides fine in a car.
