About Charlie

Charlie is a happy, loving boy who has been waiting for his forever home for a long time. He is full of life and loves to play with toys. His exuberant and playful nature is sure to bring joy and energy to any home. Charlie gets along well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for those with canine siblings. However, he is not a fan of cats, so a cat-free household is a must. Charlie used to have a tendency to be possessive of his toys, but with dedication and training from the shelter staff, he has made significant improvements. He now responds to the 'out' command and is learning to share his toys. Requirements for a New Home: Charlie would do best in a home without children, as he may not be comfortable around them. An experienced dog owner who can provide the necessary structure and consistency for Charlie to thrive. The new owner should be committed to continuing the positive reinforcement and training work that the shelter staff has started. Charlie is a wonderful dog who deserves a loving forever home. His playful and loving nature makes him an ideal companion for someone who understands his needs and is willing to provide him with the support and care he requires. Please note that this is CHARLIE when filling out your application or making any inquiries about him. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
