About Dandelion

Dandelion (a tortie)was a stray cat who had her babies in our front bush! We had her (TNR'd) trapped, spayed, (vaccinated) and released but she would not accept her babies inside the house without her. She has ended up being the sweetest, most intelligent, timid cat. She loves everyone (human and cat) but is so submissive that she is picked on a lot by the other cats. Even her daughter picks on her! She is blind in one eye (vet said it was due to a untreated eye infection however long ago) but it does not pose any issues for her whatsoever. She has been an inside cat now for two years and has surpassed all our expectations. She comes for pets, she lets you know if there's no food, she jumps up on laps, she has begun sleeping on our bed, and she plays! I don't believe she had ever had toys before and had to watch the other cats to learn what to do. I am assuming she was a house at at some point as she knew how to use the litter box and she uses scratching posts/mats. She deserves a quiet, peaceful home without other cats. She is somewhat scared of my youngest, so loud children may not be the best either. She will need to go to the vet. I believe she would be fine for us to take her but I don't want to overwhelm her before adoption. When she was TNR'd, the vet said she was approximately 4 yrs old and in great health. She does have a wart on her neck but the vet said it was not a big deal. Great kitty. All she wants are pets and love. She never gets in trouble. She may take a bit to warm up to a new family. The $15 adoption fee is to be donated to Rescue Me.
