About Sammy

Sammy is 2 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. He was heartworm positive when he first arrived but went through treatment and is now heartworm free! He is the biggest sweetheart and loves to cuddle. Sammy is crate and house-trained but needs work walking on a leash. He can be a little scared of new things and loud noises but just needs some reassurance. He loves playing with toys and does great with other dogs. He has been exposed to cats (currently lives with one) and is not aggressive, but is more intrigued. He doesn't bark very often but gets excited easily and may knock over small children by accident so he may need to be monitored around small children or live in a home with older children.
