About ROCKO FRENCH

Rocko is seven years old and has had quite a run! A 7-year-old, 25 lb. Frenchie, he was abandoned by his owner and tied in a front yard of the home where the owner was renting a room. Eventually Rocko got loose from the tether, then bit the property owner while loose. At the shelter, he was very selective with staff, liking some and trying to snap at others. Since he has been with us, he is just as selective - he loves one of our volunteer walkers and snaps at another. When he bites, he seems to like feet the most. He is available to a very experienced adult only and cat-free household, where he will have structure and boundaries so he can be the best Frenchie and friend he can be. 'Rocko is a tough little guy, but he's all bark, and... a few bites. So his adopter shouldn't be of the faint of heart. But once you get past the tough guy act, Rocko is a sweetie who just loves to be pet and cuddled. It takes a little bit of effort, but once he gives you the stamp of approval, Rocko won't leave you alone! He loves to get his booty scratched, his chin scratched, but above all, he loves being called a good boy!
