Meet Mia. Mia was slated for euthanasia today 1/11/23 but she has captured the hearts of several staff members, so she has been given an additional two weeks to improve her behavior. Mia was surrendered because her owner no longer had housing and has been bouncing back and forth from boarding facilities/day care and living in a car. When she arrived at the shelter she was wary of strangers but quickly earned the trust of some of the kennel staff. Mia is very sweet and seeks out attention by rubbing her body on you and sitting in your lap. She has not been very confident around other dogs yet.
