*Available and Vetted as of 12/19* Meet Sandy Lou! Sandy Lou is currently being fostered in Bedford, Ohio. She is a female Bernese Mountain dog that weighs 66 pounds and is approximately six years old. Sandy gets along with other dogs of all ages, but has not been tested around cats. Sandy Lou does have some dental sensitivities that her adoptive family will need to be aware of as it can affect her eating habits. She is selective in who she warms up to, but once she has her people picked out she is always greeting with a happy tail and a smile on her face! Her favorite activity is to go outside and smell everything while exploring! Sandy Lou is super curious but is cautious when hearing new things in the home. A home with a gentle approach would be best suited for her. Young children would not be the best fit due to her being skittish of loud noises and quick unfamiliar movements. A home with an older couple or one with older children would be a wonderful fit for her. A fence is required.
