About Smokey

It's CHOW Time! Meet Smokey, C.A.R.L.'s drop-dead gorgeous 4 year old Chow Chow. He's a quick learner who's got some skills thanks to specialized training. He sits at every gate or entrance, walks well on leash, and knows the commands sit, lay down, roll over and place. Smokey's favorite thing about staying at C.A.R.L. is his beloved volunteer handler who keeps him up on his skills, provides structure, continuity and everlasting love. As is typical of Chows, Smokey is fiercely loyal and protective and wants to extend that singular devotion to a unique family who understands and is knowledgeable about Chows.
