About NUGGET

***NEEDS FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise NUGGET is a young (3-4 years old), medium-energy male husky who is friendly with other dogs. He is a total sweetheart with people and kids. NUGGET is currently in a foster home with dogs, cats, goats and chickens and foster family calls him a 'good boy'. We recently learned that NUGGET is very easily trained and distracted, so he has learned to be safe around chickens, but a home without birds is best. NUGGET is such a good playmate for kids or other dogs. He is a great adventure buddy, but also great at just chilling with you or other dogs. NUGGET shares his bowls and toys with his foster siblings. You can touch him all over and he is totally fine. He didn't mind having his nails clipped at all! He is a good playmate for kids and other dogs and a great adventure buddy, but can also just chill with you or other dogs. In the home, he is curious, but not reactive or high-energy. You can rev him up and play, but he also settles in nicely and is calm. We did try NUGGET in another home that included a cat and it wasn't a good fit, so he may be cat-selective. NUGGET has decent manners and knows his basic obedience commands. He walks well on a harness. He is crate-trained and sleeps perfectly all night in a crate. NUGGET was a gem at a recent dance competition event with lots of commotion. He was especially good around children, soaking up all their love and giving kisses (see video).
