About Rocky

Meet Rocky Meet Sweet Rocky. Most dogs have sad stories, but some sadder than others. Rocky wandered onto the property of a Texas foster. He was emaciated and exhausted. He had bite wounds all over his body with infection setting in. This foster reached out to us and Rocky was quickly taken to the vet for treatment. Dogs are so resilient and forgiving. Our Rocky is all that and more. He's been loved and nurtured and is the happiest boy. After his physical wounds were healed he went through heartworm treatment and has been neutered. Rocky is now ready for a family of his own. Rocky resides in a foster home with other dogs and gets along well with all of them. Rocky's looking for a settled home life with a secured yard where he can run and be his goofy self. Rocky loves short walks and laying at your feet. From Rocky's Foster / Finder When Rocky showed up at our door he was beat up, hungry, tired and ready to give up. Emaciated, torn up by other animals and ready to call it quits. But...he was sweet and tender and very grateful for the food, love and attention we were giving him. Rocky is now thriving and is a fur wrapped bucket of love. Rocky is funny, goofy, loving, smart, quick to learn and ready to give so much love, he loves everyone big and small, loves his toys and treats, learning new tricks, he's house trained and very well mannered. He walks on leash and he also comes back when called. He's so loyal, faithful and very patient and is just a super sweet guy. He still has a few battle scars on his body but his old life is behind him now. We named him Rocky, for boxer Rocky Balboa, because he too fought and won!
