About Luke

I need help guys. Luke needs a new home. He's an inside dog. Potty trained, good with kids. Not so good with other animal. Super loyal. Comes with a kennel and food. I hate that it has to come to this. We live in an apartment on the second floor and do not have a yard. We have a newborn baby in the house and it's just not safe anymore. He's a 7 year old chocolate lab.. he grew up with my German shepherd since puppies, but isn't good with new dogs ( he needs to be properly introduced im sure he will be welcoming ..since then we have had 2 cats come and go (wondered away, not rehomed). Male of course. He's been vaccinated his entire life, but has missed about a year of vaccinations since we have moved to San Antonio. He's fixed. He's ok with older children as long as he's not getting his ears and tail pulled. Very very chill but is very vocal with other animals (other dogs and cats). He's a littler heavier (about 100-110 lbs). He's very welcoming to new people coming into his home. But will protect his home as well, he will definitely alert when someone he hasn't met has arrived. Loves dog beds and pillows, especially if it's your old used pillows. He's been nothing but great honestly but it's just not safe with my newborn around. I dont want to get rid of him but we just cant do it anymore.
