About Vader

Please be sure to read his biography below to learn what he needs in a home placement and how to apply. Vader is a stunning 2 year old Belgain Malinois mix. He was bought from a breeder as a puppy and recently his owner came to us for help re-homing him. This breed, the Belgian Shepherd, is one of the smartest dog breeds out there. You have to know what to do with a smart dog, otherwise they become bored and destructive. Vader is very intelligent and very active. He can sit, lay down and shake on command. He has pretty good leash walking skills as well and he is totally housebroken. We are looking for Shepherd people or power breed experienced people who are active and live an active lifestyle. Vader will not do well left in a back yard while his family works M-F full time. Shepherds are also mouthy dogs, kids should be 10 and older and be able to understand this. He will be best suited for homeowners with a yard for him to run and play in, rather then apartment/rental living. He currently lives with 2 male Yorkies and he is fine with them, he can also be placed with a female dog who is active. Vader has seen the vet, is neutered, current on his vaccinations and microchipped.
