[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] *URGENT, IN NEED OF TEMPORARY HOME/FOSTER* Daisy is in need of a temporay home/foster! She is 13, spayed and up to date on shots, and is very sweet and child friendly. She has been our family dog for 12 years, but my parents are no longer able to care for her and said that if we don't find her a home within a week she will be put down. Our vet told us she has cognitive dysfunction, which is like dementia in dogs. She has been having accidents in the house (on the floor and in her crate,) which is why my parents can no longer care for her, so whoever takes her in would have to be willing to change doggy diapers/clean up messes if they happen. She also barks at night sometimes in her crate, although we have her on an anti-anxiety medication which has reduced this. Her other symptom is sometimes she barks at us seemingly without reason which is a symptom of dysfunction. Other than this she is healthy and enjoys her life. She loves food, walks, being pet especially on her rump, and still sometimes acts like a fun and crazy puppy when she is playing with her toys. I currently live in a dorm so am not able to take her, but will be able to when I find an apartment which would hopefully be by summer or fall, which is why this would be a temporary situation. Location is flexible.
