Please fill out an application to start the process to meet Cally - MEET AND GREETS WILL BE IN RIVERSIDE, CA. https://pawsitivetailstoremember.forms-db.com/view.php?id=25487 CALLY is a 2 yrs old spayed Calico cat with an amazing story to tell. As a rescue we became involved with helping a shop owner with a Trap Neuter Return project along with rescuing 12 kittens, all sickly from this parking lot! Cally was one of these cats. She was trapped as a feral, was spayed and her left ear was tipped. This is a distinguishing trademark of a feral who was either spayed or neutered. Cally was returned to the private parking lot to live out her life. The shop owner was the good Samaritan who fed the 20 something cats living there and Cally had an upper respiratory infection at the time she was spayed. Sadly, she became worse after her spaying and the shop owner contacted a member of the rescue and pleaded for help with this kitty who was thought to be under two years of age. Cally was brought to the home of the foster with the rescue and it became very clear that Cally was NOT feral. She was scared and sick. A full regime of antibiotics, B12 injections, fluids and worming started this kitty on the road to health. She was SO thin but in a few weeks she started filling out and she was bathed and she is thriving. Cally is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is playful and loving but she can be feisty also! If you pet her the wrong way she will swat at your hand; if you are petting her and you stop she will also swat at you%BD'%BD|she comes back for all the love she can receive. She is also a talker! Cally gave birth prior to being spayed and she had one kitten who survived. This young kitty is wanting and needing her forever home. She has beautiful markings and please don't let her partial ear be a stop for an adoption. She would do well in a home with another cat her age. She may however want to be the Queen Bee! Please consider adopting this beautiful Calico kitty.
