Current on vaccinations(per owner). Oscar is reported to be going blind due to the development of diabetes. Owner reports that Oscar has diabetes, requiring 2 insulin shots a day. He also recently had ACL surgery on his right leg. Owner report: %A0 %A0 Owner needs to rehome Oscar because her job will require her to start traveling a lot. Oscar is described as an indoor dog with the run of then house. He is house broken and leash trained. Oscar know the following commands 'Sit, lay down, outside, no, drop it, leave it.' Oscar is described and nervous and shy, good with adults and teenagers and female dogs. 'Oscar doesn't get along with some male dogs (there are a few that he doesn't have a problem with). Doesn't do well with cats (he thinks they are prey).' Oscar would do best in a home without small children. 'With the previous owner, their small child snuck up on him from behind and he turned around and snipped at her, breaking the skin. That is why they decided to rehome him. That is the only incident with a bite.' 'Oscar is not completely blind yet, that is why I would love to find him a home before he loses his eyesight fully. He did very well adapting to my home when I first adopted him'|Oscar is a very well-behaved dog when left alone in a house, he is a great companion for someone who has no male dogs/cats in their house. He is very sweet and calm and loves to cuddle!' Can anyone help Oscar? **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
