Luna: 3.5 yr old black & rust female, spayed, docked tail and cropped ears. 11' tall, 12 lbs. Fully vetted. Owner give-up 'Hi Everyone, I'm Luna. I'm a 3-year-old black and Rust spayed female with a docked tail and cropped ears. People say I'm a really beautiful 12- pound girl. Almost a year ago, I ended up at the vet's office with bladder stones that required surgery. I had the bad luck of being owned by a family who apparently didn't think I was worth the money for the right kind of dog food (Urinary Care Dog Food). Well, a girl must eat what she can get even if it is bad for her, and sure enough, I ended up back in the vet's office with more bladder stones. I was going to need surgery again and my old humans said they couldn't pay for it and wanted the vet to put me to sleep. I can assure you; I was not on board for that, but what choice did I have? None. I'll always be grateful to the wonderful vet's staff for talking my former human into giving me to IMPS. It took some talking and persistence, but those papers making me an IMPS dog finally got signed and I got the vet care I needed. I'm doing fine so far on my Urinary Care Dog Food. I will need to be on it for the rest of my life. I will not be allowed any food other than what my vet recommends, but I'm worth it and IMPS thinks so too. My foster mom says I learn very fast and am well on my way to mastering all the other things I need to know to be a cherished, inside dog and a valued member of a family of humans. I get really excited to see my foster mom and just buzz with excitement. I love everyone I meet, and I get along with all my foster siblings. I sleep in my crate, but if you let sneak into your bed, even better! My foster mom says I don't have any meanness in me and that I have lots of energy, and now that I'm almost healed, I'll soon be doing zoomies with my foster siblings and having great fun. I love it here, but I'd really love my own home where I can get the individual attention I deserve. I won't do well in an apartment setting since I have so much energy, and like a lot of Min Pins, I can get kind of loud. I'm in California and will only be adopted to a home in California, or an adjacent state. If you think you could give me a forever home, and give me the care I deserve, could you please fill out the application at: https://www.minpinrescue.org/home.html and get approved? I'm really looking forward to meeting you soon! Loving Life, Luna' Note: LUNA is located in Springville, CA (near Bakersfield) - and we will not fly this girl.
