About Diago

Meet Diago! This gorgeous Chocolate Labrador spent years outside in an outdoor pen. Our boy Diago had not had anything medically done until we got him at approx., 7-8 years old. Diago weighs a good 95 pounds, but he is TOTAL SWEETNESS and a gentle giant! I LOVE this chocolate boy! He is loving, affectionate, and easygoing. He is a little scared at times with sudden moves but once he knows you mean him no harm he comes out of his shell. He has deserved so much more than the life he had to endure, so I am so happy we can put that behind him. He has suffered ear infections and hematoma in both ears, so they look smaller. We have cleaned them up and working on getting them better. We are so grateful we were asked to take him because he turns out to be heartworm positive too and we treating him. Nowadays it's not a death sentence, but it can be if it goes untreated. I can't tell you enough how wonderful this boy is and how much he deserves to be pampered and loved! When he first got here, he had one accident and wasn't too familiar with the crate. Since he is housebroken and crate trained and has mastered sit. He is very intelligent and a quick student. He has no issues at all with food or any meanness. He will do fine around anyone. Would love a fenced-in yard to play in or lay in the sun. He is such a marvelous fellow anyone would enjoy having this boy that wants a calm and easy-going boy.
