About Sunny

Sunny is a beautiful liver and cream colored shepherd/husky mix with brown eyes. She's about 3 years old and 65 lbs, spayed, micro-chipped, and will be up-to-date on shots. She's housebroken and crate trained (hasn't needed one for quite awhile), doesn't seem to be afraid of loud noises or fireworks, is great at recall and very trainable. She lets me cut her nails and even lets me wipe her paws to come inside the house from the rain. She lets you know when she needs to go potty in the middle of the night. She's very cautious around strangers and new people, but once she trusts you, she's the sweetest dog ever. She's never been aggressive around our young kids including feeding time. She was great with our senior dog before he passed. We got a puppy and she was great with him. Now that he's grown they can't get enough of each other (but they're not bonded). Ideal home would be with an active family (she loves hikes and doesn't mind going in lakes or rivers), other fur siblings would be great for her and very patient men who are willing to work with her to gain her trust. She needs a large yard to run in because she loves running laps, playing chase, chasing bubbles and birds. She deserves to be in a home where she is comfortable all the time and loved by everyone in the home. She's still very nervous around my husband after 2 years of having her. It's time to give her a chance for an entire family to love on her as my husband travels a lot and does not have time nor patience to work with her. Rehoming fee applies. Located in Chino Valley.
