Lucky: 7 yr old black & tan female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 10.5', 7 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter. 'Hi, I'm Lucky, I'm a spunky, 7 pound, Black and Tan Miniature Pinscher, a ball of fire with a docked tail and natural, upright ears. I get really excited when my foster mom calls me, and I run to her. I love barking at my siblings and telling my foster mom when they do things they are not supposed to do. I love being in the thick of things, and occasionally my siblings will run me over and knock me down, but I just get up and keep going. I even caught a big rat. That thing was almost as big as me, but I got it! I attack the broom when my mom sweeps, and I try to kill the vacuum. The lawn mower is the worst. That thing just has to go! I tried really hard to kill it, but all I got for my efforts was locked up. My foster mom said she was afraid of running me over. Can you believe that? I just live for evenings and weekends when my foster mom sits down for a few minutes. I go nuts until I can get on her lap. Man, that is the best place to nap, right after I lick her all over and let her know how happy I am to be alive and loved. I've not always been spunky though. When my old humans dropped me off at the animal shelter like I was garbage, I was overweight and could barely walk. I would fall over backward because my back leg would give out and I had a big Mammary Tumor under my front leg. I do mean really big. It was interfering with my ability to walk. My mouth was disgusting, and I was in desperate need of a dental to clean up my teeth and get my mouth healthy again. I was in grave danger of being euthanized when IMPS came and got me out and into a foster home. My life up to now has not been easy but my IMPS foster mom took me to the vet who did my dental and removed that huge tumor and a couple smaller ones. I still have some back and hip issues from an old injury, but I don't let that hold me back. Now that my foster mom helped me lose some weight, I can now run around like a normal dog, and I can even get up and down a few steps. I'm so much stronger than I was you'd never know I was that poor little thing my old humans dumped. I try really hard to do my potty business on pee pads or outside, but I do have accidents once in a while. My foster mom doesn't care though. She just cleans up my mistakes. She says my sunny nature and the hilarious things I do more than make up for my booboos! If you think you could give me a forever home where I can get even more attention, could you please fill out the adoption application at: https://www.minpinrescue.org/home.html and get approved? I love my foster mom, but I'd really love ahome of my own where I can get lots and lots of attention and love. Are you the home for me?
