About Bentley

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Bentley is an 8 year old chowed lab and husky mix. I have owned him his entire life. He was always had aggression issues mostly when he doesn't want to do something, if you try and take something away from him and honestly just sometimes when you are petting him. He has bitten before where he broke skin but nothing severe. The issue is now we have 2 kids ages 2 and 4 with a third one on the way. We cannot trust him around the kids so he is in the kitchen free to roam that area and our laundry room. He kids will try and pet him and he shows his teeth like a warning. He is not good with strangers so we have to put him in our bedroom when people come over to visit. He does get along with the outdoor cat that basically came with the house. He also gets along with my parents and their dog but he is a bully. He takes away to warm up to people but I think it he went to a home with someone older with no pets or kids that knows how to handle an aggressive dog he might adapt. I am doing an adoption fee because I want someone who is serious in helping our dog live out the last years of his life.
