About Nala

Affectionate, crate trained, cat friendly, very good on leash....meet Miss Nala! She's a volunteer and staff favorite here. Everyone says this little lady is very sweet, loves extra attention (who doesn't) and would be your best furry friend forever! Nala is about 2 years old, 65 pounds, a great walker who enjoys a good belly rub and goes crazy for toys! If you would like to meet Nala, fill out an application today! 'If you're looking for a small town girl, living in a lonely world, Nala is your gal. Rescued from a farm, Nala is one of the funniest dogs here at our Red Dog House facility. Nala LOVES toys! She will gladly show off her newest treasure whenever possible! She somehow manages to find every ball that we have. Sometimes I'll clean her kennel and she'll have three or four balls! She's just happy to get pet once in a while. I highly recommend Nala! She's consistently a cutie patootie! I've noticed that she's a pretty independent pup, and will happily chew away at a toy while at home. She's just as likely to cuddle up next to you and take a nap, or smother you with kisses. Only warning: she's a super chewer! If you adopt her, you'll need some of the toughest toys out there! One of the silliest things she does is that if she doesn't get enough attention, she will chase her tail in circles until you give her love.
