OMG! Amazing Dog Alert! It's a beabull! That's right. Our sweet Buttercup is an older adult (around 10 years), beagle/bulldog mix who weighs about 25 pounds and is a site to behold! Short legs, chunky bod, docked tail, she puts the BUTT in Buttercup! Having been kept outside (possibly chained) for most of her life, this girl is living it up in her foster home! When her butt isn't on the couch napping with her doggie friends, she's romping in the yard, playing with kids and eating lots of snacks! Buttercup is an absolutely charming girl who loves people and walks and adventures and everything but cats! She's still working on house training and is learning quickly and can be crated. Buttercup is a treasure and we are going to find her a family to treat her that way! Is it you? Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
