About Lenny

If you are looking for a true, noble, majestic, Belgian Malinois, then just keep scrolling because Lenny is not your boy. If you are looking for the most goofy, derpy, lover boy dressed up like a Belgian, then look no further! Lenny is a spunky boy who will leap over the back of your couch just to sit on your lap for love. He doesn't want to be home alone or without a buddy so if you have another doggie he would love that. He needs lots of love and attention and continued work on manners especially towards other dogs while on a leash. He's extremely dog friendly but is leash reactive. Lenny's ideal home will have another dog that loves to play. His humans should be home more often than not, too. A fenced in yard is a must for this breed, and experience is preferred. Lenny is an amazing boy who did not have a very good beginning to life. He was flown to Northern Colorado to start a new life and upon arriving his foster new something wasn't right. Lenny was taken to the vet and immediately where it was discovered he was knocking on deaths door due to an untreated tick borne illness. He was immediately taken to the ER where he was hospitalized for a few days and got blood transfusions. Once he was feeling better, Lenny started limping. He made a visit to an orthopedist and it was discovered he had something called osteochondritis. This required a curative surgery on his shoulders wherein excess cartilage was removed. Finally, 4 months later, he has been medically cleared and is ready for adoption
