About Haley

Miss Haley is looking for her furever home or foster-to-adopt home to run, play, chase, and snuggle. Right now she is in foster care and working with Vertex K9 Training on her energy management and basic obedience to address her anxieties. She is a border collie mix and she has all the characteristic that will make her a great active buddy walking, running, hiking, and would be a great lure chasing or agility dog. She is so so smart and wants to please as fast as she can. Haley must be exercised physically to achieve her goofy lounging balanced self. She loves to be cozy and will build a nest of blankets in her crate or her foster parents bed. In the morning she loves to wake up whoever's still sleeping so everyone can start squirrel duty in the yard. Don't worry, she's not so needy that she can't entertain herself playing with her toys. Rope toys and chasing a tennis ball are her favorite. She has lived with pups before and done well with fur buddies but because she didn't have a channel for her anxious energy she has been an only dog just for now while she develops a good foundation. Our trainer is confident she will become dog friendly again and a boy pup would be best. We think she would be great with kids since she adores people and would likely do well. No kitties due to her high prey drive. She is almost 2 years old, potty trained, crate trained, and rides well in the car. Could Haley be your copilot for adventure?!
