Howdy everyone! My name is Polar Bear, and I'm a sweet, friendly, laid-back 51-pound white American Staffordshire Terrier mix fella who was born around January 2021. I know I look like a foreboding, burly bully, but I'm a canine marshmallow. I'm easy to please because I just LOVE everyone -- all ages of humans, including kids, as well as other dogs! I have perfect manners and am even well-behaved when I'm confined inside my kennel. 'AmStaffs' are renowned for being happy, outgoing, good-natured, stable, and confident dogs. We're usually game for anything and lovable 'personality dogs' around the house. AmStaffs like mental and physical challenges, so we're highly trainable. I was brought to Miss Donna by a Good Samaritan who found me tied to a tree in the parking lot of a strip center in southwest Houston. My owner most likely abandoned me because he couldn't afford to care for me due to the econonic crisis. I'm trusting that Miss Donna will find me a wonderful new family who will be my forever companions this time around. I hope you'll arrange to meet me! I may look like a canine gladiator on the outside, but I'm one of the sweetest, most cheerful dudes you'll ever meet. My heart has so much love to give someone -- all I need is YOU! Polar Bear is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
